Supporting our wider community

Here at The Croft Primary School, we help to students to support the wider community. We encourage them to show empathy for others, to value the difference one person can make and that each act of kindness is a step towards helping others. It is important that our students beome well-rounded citizens whom understand the role they play in developing a respectful, supportive community. We are incredibly proud to support our local and national community through a wide range of iniatives and fundraising. We understand that together, we can make a difference!

For example:

  • Internet safer day
  • national odd sock day
  • Harvest
  • anti-bullying week
  • mental health awareness day
  • number day
  • Rememberance
  • Poppy Appeal
  • Stay and Play
  • Children in Need
  • Comic relief
  • Annual St Giles raindeer run to raise money for a local hospice
  • Community events such as the Christingle, village daffodil plant, community secret santa
  • and many many more...
