On behalf of the children, staff and governors we would like to offer you a warm welcome to our school website.
The Croft is a one form entry primary school, in the heart of the village of Armitage. Our children enjoy coming to school where our happy and caring environment enables them to thrive. We work hard to promote high achievement and learning for life in all children, through an ethos of support, challenge and encouragement. We provide a wide range of academic, sporting, musical and community activities which enrich our curriculum and celebrate success in all.
Working in partnership with our Croft parents and carers, we aim for our children to be:
Develop a sense of respect for themselves and others
Aquire moral values and judgements
Able to work independently and collaborativley with others
Develop enquiring minds, and acquire knowledge, skills and practical abilities
Be resiliant and adaptable in our ever changing world
Be self motivated and aspirational
Develop knowledge, skills and practical abilities
Inspire and foster talents within a broad and rich curriculum
Have the confidence to problem solve
We hope that this website informs you of the journey your child will take as a caring, courageous and creative Croft pupil, and we look forward to working with you.
