Safeguarding

We aim for the highest standards of safeguarding practices in all we do to ensure the safety and welfare of our students. All of our staff, volunteers and external agencies support us in this and understand how safeguarding is everyone's responsilbility. We actively follow the governments Prevent duty to counter radicalisation and extremism. All stakeholders are upto date with relevant safeguarding training and adhere to the naitional guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education' and 'Working together to safeguard children'.

It is incredibly important to us that our whole community places the safeguarding of our students with the highest priority and as such we would encourange you to take the NSPCC 10-minute ditial training and learn how to speak up for children. 

Listen up, Speak up will show you:

• some signs a child might be at risk, and steps you can take to help
• how to approach difficult conversations to help keep children safe
• who you can contact if you’re ever concerned about a child or their family.

Operation Encompass

The Croft Primary School is proud to be part of the project with Staffordshire Police. Operation Encompass is the reporting to schools, prior to the start of the next school day, when a child or young person has experienced, any domestic abuse.
