Enriching
the curriculum
We believe that children learn best through first hand experiences, therefore each term we strive to organise educational visits and speakers to engage children in their learning and enrich the curriculum.
Physical Education also plays an important role at The Croft as we aim to promote healthy lifestyles for all. We encourage the children to be active in and out of the classroom. As well as the children receiving a high quality PE curriculum, the school offers a range of after school clubs including – football, netball, archery, tag rugby and Frisbee to name a few. Other clubs such as art, cookery, computing , choir and newspaper are also on offer, appealing to the interests of all our children.
The children also get the opportunity to learn to play an instrument through our very successful Rock It music project that is delivered by specialist music teachers.
